About ALACE ALACE, the Association of Labor Assistants and Childbirth Educators, is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women's choices in childbirth. ALACE is the only nationally recognized training program developed and guided by women. ALACE respects birth as a woman-centered and a woman-directed passage.
